Over the years, the Sixth Form has continued to provide students with a solid foundation with which to build their future careers. This has been emphasised by the consistent performance from students in attaining A*-E pass grades during their time in the Sixth Form.
Achieving grades that are worthy of a University place or career path of the student’s choice are essential and at St Margaret’s Sixth Form, we do all we can to underpin the student’s successes with an excellent standard of teaching and pastoral support.
With our new Sixth Form Transitions Co-Ordinator on hand; Mr Chris Cooke, students are able to receive continued support through their time in the Sixth Form in ensuring they make the right academic and career choices – studying and participating in subjects they enjoy.
In the 2010-2011 Academic Year, A-Level students achieved an outstanding 96.7% A*-E pass rate, with a further 61.8% attaining a very impressive A*-C grade.
These pass rates are there for all to see; the Sixth Form strives to improve year on year, and with that academic and pastoral support, students can be sure they are given all the necessary tools to achieve and even excel on their targets.
