The Parents Association is a fund raising body of parents, who help with extra support for the school. We work with the Headmaster and senior management team of the school to identify where additional funding is required. Each year we support the Year 7 Eucharist with a cheese and wine reception. We also contribute to the Swap Shop scheme and a wide range of other initiatives ranging from equipment for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme, assisting with trips and in the past fund raising for the school minibus.
We rely on support from parents for our fund raising activities. Support for social evenings (race nights and murder mystery nights) has dwindled over recent years. Therefore, this year we will be focusing on one main funding raising event – the Christmas Fair in November and we always need assistance in obtaining raffle prizes, promoting the fair, setting up and of course running stalls. If you are able to provide any assistance, or work for a company who could donate a prize or even offer match funding for one of the stalls please contact us. With your help we will exceed the £4000 raised in 2010.
