The data below relates to the absence rate of students of compulsory school age in the last school year, up to and including Friday, 9th May 2009.

• Number of students of compulsory school age - 775
• Percentage of sessions missed through authorised absence - 5.7%
• Percentage of sessions missed through unauthorised absence - 0.2%

Please note: a ‘session’ is a half day. Authorised absence is that which is permitted by law or allowed by the school. All other absences are unauthorised.

Parents who have low income may apply, each school year, for welfare benefits to any local One Stop shop. Details can be found on the Liverpool Council Website:

Attendance is high, students show enthusiasm in lessons and their behaviour is exemplary. They speak very positively about the outstanding care and pastoral support they receive throughout their time at the school.
